Volunteering with the Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA) Track & Field Training Camp: September 25, 2015

Dr. Lopes volunteered her time with the Canadian Deaf Track & Field team during their training camp at York University in Toronto.  She provided on-site care to the athletes and assessed their mobility to help prevent future injuries.  

Toronto 2015 Para Pan Am Games: August 7-15, 2015

Dr. Lopes volunteered in August 2015 as a sports chiropractor.  She assisted at York University for Athletics. She provided both sports first responder and chiropractic services to athletes as part of the host medical team for the Games.   She assisted athletes with visual, physical and intellectual impairments.      

Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games: July 10-26, 2015

Dr. Lopes volunteered in July 2015 as a sports chiropractor.  She assisted during the Opening Ceremonies as well as for the Men’s & Women’s Handball events. Canadian Deaf Sports Association Track & Field ID Camp
